This was part of the package we purchased with the Dreamworld and Whitewater World. On the third day at Broadbeach, we drove to the building and visited the Skypoint Observation Deck. We were simply in awe up there. 77 stories high and 230 meters above sea level, effectively the tallest building in Gold Coast. I will just let pictures tell the words in this blog entry.
The first amazing thing was that the lift was super fast. From the ground to the 77th floor, it took less than 30 seconds. You can relax and enjoy the view while you eat and drink at the cafe up there. There was also a short walkthrough on the history of Gold Coast and
We spent about one hour up there to enjoy the sights. The weather was also pretty good, with a clear blue sky. With the height of 230m, we can actually see up to 54km away. This was quite incredible. If you are adventurous enough, you can even do a climb up further outside the building with a safety harness and a guide. But for us, it was good enough to be on the 77th deck.
