I love to run long distances, So how can I miss the opportunity to leave some footprints here at Gold Coast?
The following morning after a couple of beach days, I decided I would run along Broadbeach promenade. If I couldn’t make it to the renowned Gold Coast Marathon in July each year, at least I had run a stretch of the famous route. So this was it, not too fast, comfortable pace, 10 klicks in an hour.
Some of the sights can only be seen from the vantage during a run, through the town centre, crossing the tram tracks, and the sights other than the beach.
Internal waters
It was fortunate that the weather holds up until later in the morning for me to finish the run. Thereafter, the predicted storm moved in for the rest of our stay, which is not too bad as we turned our holiday focus to SHOPPING indoors.
