Moreton Bay (4): Caboolture Historical Village

My girls decide they want to have a look at the historical village. Armed with my camera they went ahead, while I took the boys out to shop at a nearby shopping centre, quite a contrary right?

The village was not an actual historical village per se, more like a museum where historical buildings (more than 70 small ones) and artefacts (11000+ pieces!) were donated to preserve the heritage of Caboolture area. It showcased the importance of the village during the 19th century serving trekkers shuttling Brisbane City and goldfields in Gympie. Today they served as pitstop for Tourists from Brisbane going to Sunshine Coast. A photo journal of their trip was presented here, having failed to get them to write a blog entry.

Ten Thousand words above, my girls told me. Because “each picture tells a thousand words”, so they claimed.

  1. Greetings from Colorado! I’m bored to death at work so I decided to check out your blog on my iphone during lunch break. I love the info you provide here and can’t wait to take a look when I get home. I’m amazed at how fast your blog loaded on my cell phone .. I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyhow, good blog!

  2. One more issue is that video gaming has become one of the all-time most significant forms of entertainment for people of all ages. Kids participate in video games, plus adults do, too. The XBox 360 is probably the favorite video games systems for many who love to have a huge variety of games available to them, along with who like to experiment with live with other people all over the world. Many thanks for sharing your opinions.
